100% homebuilt 85 SS monte. LS1, 6 speed, OBD2 conversion. complete drivetrain, harness, fuel system, dash and other misc. parts out of a 99 SS camaro. the camaro only had 47k miles when it came into my possesion. rest of the car including heater, lights, wipers, cruise control and things like that all being powered from the camaros harness/controls. none of the 1985 harness remains except the dome light circuit. big 8.5 10 bolt with 4.11:1 gears and eaton posi unit from a 71 chevelle. fitted with the ss camaros 12″ rear disc brakes. shortened upper trailing arms and adjustable lowers with spherical rod ends to fit the older/beefier/wider rearend. still a work in progress at this point, but to me getting the referee to approve my work was a big deal and a huge step. this car passes california smog legally! go green!…well as green as you can go with a full size, v8 powered car thats built for thrashing.
