100% homebuilt 85 SS monte. LS1, 6 speed, OBD2 conversion. complete drivetrain, harness, fuel system, dash and other misc. parts out of a 99 SS camaro. the camaro only had 47k miles when it came into my possesion. rest of the car including heater, lights, wipers, cruise control and things like that all being powered from the camaros harness/controls. none of the 1985 harness remains except the dome light circuit. big 8.5 10 bolt with 4.11:1 gears and eaton posi unit from a 71 chevelle. fitted with the ss camaros 12″ rear disc brakes. shortened upper trailing arms and adjustable lowers with spherical rod ends to fit the older/beefier/wider rearend. still a work in progress at this point, but to me getting the referee to approve my work was a big deal and a huge step. this car passes california smog legally! go green!…well as green as you can go with a full size, v8 powered car thats built for thrashing.

This was the first run of the night last Wednesday 18/03/2009 at Willowbank Raceway. Thankfully the driver was ok – shame about the car. I noticed this car doing a 360 at Willowbank about a year a go (posted on YouTube) – not so lucky this time.

This is a video of my 2010 Camaro 2SS/RS right after we installed the Magnaflow Comp Catback exhaust (16580). The only other performance mod on the car is the Halltech Yellow Jacket CAI. The video features the first start up, drive away, and a close up of idle and revs. More mods to come
